ACO PROs will be ACO WARRIORS

By | ACO News (from the ACO) | No Comments

The ACO has made a couple changes for 2013. They changed the date of the World Championships from January to July. The cornhole event of the year moved back to the midwest. And now the biggest change has arrived.

Effective Season IX this fall, ACO PROs will be known as ACO WARRIORS.

“We’ve been thinking about making the change,” said ACO president Frank Geers. “There are tons of professional cornhole players out there. But there aren’t any cornhole Warriors.”

ACO WARRIOR Jerseys will be slightly modified to include the term ‘warrior’ on the back.

“Professionals may play cornhole, but Warriors are the ones battling on the boards to win the reign of the cornhole kingdom,” said Matt Gray, ACO partner and director of media/brand development. “It makes total sense from a branding perspective to move in this direction.”
