Mike Bailey was on a mission. After a disappointing performance in the Qualifier Championship against Randy Atha in week three, Bailey’s stormed through the competition on his way to the crown. He defeated two-time King Matt Guy in the Qualifier Championship. In the King Championship, the momentum shifted to Atha. Atha and Bailey battled for thirty cornrows, having fifteen washes in what was the longest final in the KOC. Bailey was down 16-2 before he mounted an unprecedented comeback and won the crown.
