Wikipedia: A skins game is a type of scoring for various sports. In golf, a skins event has players compete for prize money on each individual hole. It has its origins in golf but has been adapted for disc golf, curling and bowling.
…and now it’s been adapted as ACO Skins Cornhole.
Here’s how it works:
Each Game is worth a total of thirteen 13 Skins.
Each Frame of a game is equal to one 1 Skin.
A player earns 1 Skin by outscoring their opponent during the Frame (any score).
Each Skin is set to a $$$ dollar value (TBD)
When a player reaches 7 Skins, the game ends.
Both players can earn cash for each frame they play!

- Each Frame of a game is equal to one (1) Skin.
- A player earns a Skin by outscoring their opponent during the given Frame. It doesn’t matter if they are outscored by 10 points or 1 point, the result is winning one (1) Skin.
- Each Skin is set to a dollar value (TBD).
- If the Frame is a push, then that Skin carries over to the next Frame, making that Frame now worth two (2) Skins.
- Once one player wins seven (7) Skins, the game is immediately over. That player is the declared winner and advances to the next round of the bracket.
- All remaining Skins of the original 13 will be awarded to the winner.
- An ACO Official will score all games, keep track of Skins earned and inform players of the value of upcoming Frames.
Championship Payout
- Each Skin is set to a dollar value (TBD)
- Example based on a skin value of $50:
- Player 1 wins the game by a score of 7 Skins to their opponent’s 2 Skins.
- The remaining 4 Skins will be added to the winner’s total, equaling 11 Skins
- Player 1 will earn $550 for the game and Player 2 will earn $100 for the game.
- All Skins will accumulate during all games in bracket play, and each player will be paid according to the number of Skins earned during the entirety of the tournament.
