White Castle Crave Case® Cornhole Tournament Finals Set for Saturday

Saturday’s winning team earns berth in ACO World Championships of Cornhole

WEST CHESTER, OHIO (Feb. 1, 2014) – Sixteen teams will battle for a chance to compete in the World Championships of Cornhole during the Crave Case® Cornhole Tournament finals at White Castle in West Chester (8111 Highland Pointe Drive), this Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m.

The finalists were determined through a series of qualifying tournaments hosted in conjunction with the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) at Greater Cincinnati area White Castles throughout January.

Participants will play with mini beanbags on limited edition Crave Case® cornhole sets at the finals, as they did during the qualifying tournaments. The cornhole set Crave Case® is a customized version of the popular carrying case that contains 30 White Castle Sliders.

“The Crave Case® cornhole sets were a great way to combine two of Cincinnati’s favorite things – cornhole and White Castle sliders,” said Tommy Loveberry, area supervisor, White Castle. “It’s been fun to watch the tournaments unfold and we’re excited to give our customers a chance to experience such a unique event.”

The winning team from Saturday’s double elimination tournament will receive an all-expenses paid entry to the ACO World Championships of Cornhole in Charleston, W. Va. in July 2014.

“We look forward to crowning a champion on Saturday and seeing how far our Crave Case® tournament winners can advance at July’s World Championships of Cornhole ,” said Frank Geers, founder of the ACO.
